The history of Uttarsanda Kelavani Mandal dates back to 25-Jan-1912, when the first School was established in Uttarsanda village. Furthering this dedication to education, a magnificent building for 'The Coronation High School,' providing education up to Matriculation, was constructed in 1936. After India gained independence, the school was renamed 'Bharat High School' in 1950, a name it proudly carries today, continuing to illuminate the flame of education. To connect its former students and strengthen their ties with the Mandal, an Alumni Association was also established in 1954. Uttarsanda Kelavani Mandal was registered under Section 21 of the Societies Act on May 27, 1951, with Registration No. 2600, and under the Bombay State Public Trust Act of 1950 on January 9, 1953, with Registration No. E.103. Over time, Uttarsanda Kelavani Mandal has expanded to include several educational institutions such as Smt. Maniben Chunibhai Primary School, I.J. Patel Kanya Vidyalaya, and M.I. Patel English Medium School. These institutions reinforce the Mandal's fundamental goal of providing quality education to the children of Uttarsanda and the surrounding areas. With the arrival of new and young trustees, the Mandal proudly embraces its rich history, committed to setting new benchmarks in the field of education in the future.
